2026 is going to be an exciting year for Formula 1® and by extension, F1® Clash.

With new teams; more cars per race, a new track line-up, the most regulation changes in a decade and entirely new car designs, this will be an unforgettable season.

Cars are now shorter, narrower and lighter. Aerodynamics provide less downforce overall. Power is now split further between conventional engine power and electrical battery, providing an overtake boost opportunity that replaces the current DRS mechanism. All of these developments result in some dramatic changes to the car designs themselves.

We wanted to highlight a key impact of this on F1 Clash.

Due to real Formula 1 car regulation changes, F1 Clash must update its in-game car models. While this keeps the game current, adapting previous seasons' official team liveries to the new car designs is challenging, requiring compliance with each team's brand standards.

Unfortunately, it has become clear due to licensing restrictions around sponsors and placements, we will be unable to use these liveries on the new car model. This means that the F1 Clash team are required to end support of previous seasons official team liveries at the end of the 2025 season.

The F1 Clash team apologise to Players who will be impacted by this news. Players who have collected official team liveries will be able to view these within their Hall of Fame. Premium liveries and other non-official team liveries such as the Champions Grand Slam, APX GP, F1 75 and more will be updated and available for Players to use in season 2026.

We understand the impact this may impose to Players with existing collections of official liveries. The F1 Clash team are currently working on potential solutions and will provide further information on this in the lead up to the 2026 season.
