The business end of the season is here, and that means we're getting closer to the Madring's debut on the F1® calendar. With Madrid weeks away from hosting its first race since 1981, F1® Clash fans will get the chance to try out the track in-game starting September with a very special GP event.

The Madring is a unique F1 experience; a fifty-fifty blend of street circuit and purpose-built race track. It combines tight, technical street-style corners with fast, sweeping bends, all capped off with La Monumental: a massive banked corner rising 10 metres in the air at a whopping 24% gradient that drivers will take flat-out into a blind exit.

We've faithfully recreated every twist and turn into a playable track that performs like nothing else in the game so far. The Madring features multiple elevation changes at its narrowest points, which are reminiscent of Monaco's claustrophobic corners, before opening up into the purpose-built section of the track that offers drivers ample opportunity for flat-out overtaking.

Players will have to strategise to find the optimum points to deploy overtake mode and see how hard they can push around La Monumental, which in the real world can be entered at close to 300 km/h and will subject drivers to forces up to 4G.

The highest speeds will likely be achieved down the sweeping curve of Hortaleza which launches drivers into the urban section of the circuit, or perhaps along the pit straight into Turn 1, which serves as a prime overtaking opportunity.

Speaking of, Madrid will favour drivers with a high overtaking stat. That's great news for Spaniard Fernando Alonso alongside other in-game legends like Juan Manuel Fangio and Mario Andretti. You can also expect car components with high cornering stats to work in your favour as you try to set blazing lap times.

To give players the chance to enjoy the track to the fullest, we're launching a special challenge. There will be leaderboards to climb and prize giveaways aplenty for players willing to learn the circuit inside and out.
